Are you a get-rich-quick-scheme?

Most definitely not. Get rich-quick-schemes only work for the people running them. We are a professional racing information service who cater for punters who want to make a long-term profit from betting on horses.

I've heard you claim you are one of the best racing tipster services ever. Why?

In a very tough business, where hundreds of tipsters come and go every year, we have stood the most important test of all. The test of time.

How long have you been going?

We started 20 years ago, back in May 1992.

What were you called back then?

We have always been called Premier Racing. There are unfortunately lots of other services now using the same name, but we are reluctant to change a name we have used for 20 years. This does however remain an option if we feel it becomes a problem.

How did you get your first clients?

We started proofing to the old Sporting Life in May 1992. We had some brilliant results during our first 9 months of proofing and we placed our first advert in February 1993. That first advert took just 12 orders, but amazingly 3 of those clients are still with us today.

If your results were so good, why did you take so long to advertise?

We have always believed in trying to get things right before we do anything. Patience is very important in this business. Wait until the time is right, then strike, timing is everything. Plus it was expensive and back then all of our money went on R&D.

What is R&D?

Research and Development. Even now, a large majority of our income goes on planning for the future. It is vitally important that we stay one step ahead.

Do you still advertise now?

Yes, we are an ambitious business, and advertising is important for any business.

Who started Premier Racing?

Adie Konieczny, who is still the major partner now.

That sounds like a Polish surname. With respect, what does a Polish person know about UK horse racing?

Adie Konieczny is English and was born in Horsham. He has lived in England all his life. He has been studying betting on horses for a living for the past 25 years.

So it's not a fictitious name then?

No, Adie Konieczny is a real person, and if you enter "Adie Konieczny" into Google, you will see that he has also beeen a successful local football manager in his home county of West Sussex..

It's all very well you've been going a long time, but are you any good?

Like all tipsters we have had our ups and down over the years, but we are making dramatic improvements every year, and over the long-term we have been very successful. We have a lot of clients who have been with us for many, many years. That wouldn't be the case if they weren't making good money from our service.

But what about NOW and the FUTURE?

No. Nobody who has ever bet on horses has won every week, or even every month. It is impossible to win all of the time, and there will always be ups and downs. Only a tiny percentage of professionals have what it takes to win money from betting consistently, and believe we are in that elite category.

How do I get your bets?

You can receive every bet by FREE to receive TEXT message direct to your mobile phone and you also have the option to call our daily message which is recorded at 11.45am on a standard rate telephone line each morning.

Can I get the bets sent to my mobile phone?

Yes, we also offer this option.

Where are you based?

We have recently moved to new offices in a village called Selham, our first move in 18 years. Our business has expanded rapidly over the last few years and our new premises are bigger and better.

Do you use a P.O.BOX or an accommodation address in your advertising?

No. We only use our actual proper address, which is Premier Racing, Morleys, Selham, GU28 0PJ. This address can be verified on the Royal Mail website.

Do you use a landline telephone number?

Yes. Our telephone number is 01798 861799. This is BT supplied number from the exchange closest to our office.

Do you have any advice for punters looking for a tipping service?

Yes. Don't get ripped off. Make sure you are joining a service of proven substance. Never pay money to join a service where you can't speak to someone on a landline telephone. Never join a service that uses a p.o.box or an accommodation address. And always make sure they have a VAT registration number.

Why is a VAT number important, what's that got to do with anything?

All UK businesses with a turnover of £68,000 plus must by LAW be VAT registered. Any racing service that isn't, is therefore likely to be one of the legions of chancers that spring up promising untold riches, and then disappear without trace, or they are an unsuccessful business, or they are a business that is trading illegally. And none of these are a good sign.

Anything other advice?

Don't expect miracles, because they will not happen. If a particular tipster or service can make a profit they are doing better than 95% of other tipsters and services. Any service that can produce a regular profit should be welcomed with open arms. Obviously the more profit, the better, but betting professionally is a long-term business. There is no magic formula that will enable you to get rich quick. Be realistic. And you will have a much better chance than most of making your betting pay.
